Karen Gerschwitz’s journey began with the desire to create minimalist, handcrafted pottery pieces that bring joy into the everyday.

Each piece of en'joi pottery reflects the process of transforming a raw piece of clay. Every step – wedging, throwing, drying, trimming, glazing and firing – can be sensed in the shape and finish of every cup, bowl and pot.

Karen’s pottery journey began in the Northern Territory in 2012 with a desire to explore her creativity. Since the wobbly bowls of the earliest days, Karen now delights in crafting minimalist, small-batch stoneware that bring joy into homes across Australia.

en’joi pottery is handcrafted. It is natural to see slight variations from piece to piece, making each item unique. All en’joi pottery pieces are designed to be used daily. They are safe for use in microwaves and dishwashers, although like all handmade products should be handled with extra care to ensure its long life.
